She is an amazing professor and cares so much about her students. Great class if you want a GPA boost - attendance is required, but there are only two tests and one discussion post a week, other than that not much homework and no quizzes. Loved this class!Rate My Professors ↗
Tracy is a wonderful professor and she is very passionate. I am not a social work major, so at times this class was fairly boring to me, but her class was mostly engaging and easy. At times I felt like she treated us more like children than adults, but that is my only criticism and I think it was unintentional. She deeply cares about her students.Rate My Professors ↗
SW205 is a great intro class for students interested in social work. Tracy was a great lecturer, and often ended class with interesting anecdotes from her career. There's 2 exams and 2 short papers. Workload wasn't too bad for a 4 credit class.Rate My Professors ↗
Great professor, very caring about students and does a great job of balancing course material with personal stories from the field. Exams are easy and other grading is through a couple papers and short discussion posts. This class was super interesting! Tracy is very knowledgeable & kind. The 2nd half is guest speakers which was neat. Papers have strict rubrics & attendance is taken every class through Tophat, but it is worth it. 2 papers, 2 exams, & discussion post every week. Tracy is an all-around wonderful woman! She's incredibly passionate, knowledgable, and has so much experience in the field. Her lectures are filled with fun personal anecdotes and don't drag on.
