Professor Burkard was an amazing teacher. He is hard and tough but he is doing it for a reason. He is intense, will cold call on you in lecture or really press into you. If you approach it from the right mindset you will find the course incredibly valuable.Rate My Professors ↗

T Bone is one of the funniest and realistic professors I've had here. A lot of people are intimidated of him and that is literally what he is trying to do. He's trying to show you a certain type of person you may encounter in a professional setting and not let the pressure get under your skin. This is supposed to be an intro to consulting class and he teaches like you've been in the industry for years. He'll cold call on you, expect you to do a case in front of the class, and follow along his tangents about the news and various industries. Like other reviews say, he has no structure. He shows up to class with intimidation and rabbit holes on the agenda. His class feels very cutthroat, yet you're basically graded on participation scores only. It doesn't feel like he respects his students, and if his goal is to turn people away from the field than he's doing a GREAT job.Rate My Professors ↗
I had Tom for a different class and wrote a scathing review. I do not feel the same after this class. This is where he shines. Take him for this class -- he is a BEAST for consulting and is excellent. Funny guy, clearly knows his stuff and will get you there too.
