Tim is just the sweetest guy. He's not the most articulate which can make his logic hard to follow, but he puts effort into his lectures and tries to make things fun. I thought OTM 451 was very doable with 3 exams and one big project that will require a good amount of studying/work but it's nothing you haven't done before.Rate My Professors ↗
You have to be in class and you have to pay attention. This is because his slide presentation is overloaded, unorganized, and confusing. If you try to go back into the slides and learn for yourself, you will be confused about how he got to the answers.Rate My Professors ↗

I thought lecture material often varied from what I read in the textbook. There wasn't much quality practice material to prepare for exams or understand the material. The practice problems in the textbook weren't representative of exams. Overall I thought Tim cared about his students and understood the material, but OTM300 itself was not great.Rate My Professors ↗
Tim is a very nice guy and super approachable. I would recommend showing up to lecture even though they can be a little slow. READ THE TEXTBOOK and DO THE PRATICE PROBLEMS. Tim gives you what you need to succeed, so use it.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. McClurg is a heavy lecturer who doesn't cover content that is tested on via homework and quizzes/exams. His slides don't relate to the tested content and he rambles constantly. The examples he gives are longwinded and barely relevant.Rate My Professors ↗
