Amazing prof. This is an honors class but Tom tries to make everything clear and manageable. Hw and exams are very original, challenging but interesting. He is very friendly and approachable, and responds to questions well. That said, this is a hard class so get ready to preview and review regularly. Simply the best Math professor I have ever had. Even though the questions in homework and exams are pretty hard, he is able to make them fun. Great sense of accomplishment, reasonable grading. Doing homework for this class is the best part of my week for this semester so far. He is talented and also inspirational. Really cares about students.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Chandler is probably the best math teacher I've had at UW. He explains things extraordinarily well and answers student questions diligently. He is also very kind and clearly cares about both the learning and overall well-being of his students.
