Amazing professor that truly cares about what he teaches and is extremely passionate. Could use notes for the exams and had a great TA. Lectures were great. Lots of reading, but manageable.Rate My Professors ↗

Amazing professor! Lecture slides mostly have pictures, so you need to go to class to hear the lecture and take notes. The readings can be long, but you should do them because the tests include quotes from the readings. Very interesting and applicable class, and a great way to fulfill the ethnic studies requirement!Rate My Professors ↗

You need to make sure you go to lecture for this class and take good notes, because he only uploads his powerpoints for this course, and they're mostly picture-based. Professor Kantrowitz is a great professor who is extremely passionate about this class. As long as you attend lecture, take notes, and ESPECIALLY do the readings, you should do good.Rate My Professors ↗

Prof. K is very passionate about this class; it's interesting and in-depth. I took APUSH in high school, so I didn't think I would take much away from this class, but it ended up being very interesting and thought-provoking. There is a lot of reading in the class, about 2-4 hours a week, with exams often involving direct quotes from the readings.Rate My Professors ↗

Prof K is a great lecturer who has made a history course very interesting, even for a STEM major who has always hated history! This class does have a lot of readings, but the material is generally interesting and you can get clarification is discussion.Rate My Professors ↗
