His lectures have no structure and he mumbles his way through them which makes it really difficult to understand. I learned everything from my TA, so make sure you go to discussion.Rate My Professors ↗

Very hard to understand and tends to use examples that haven't been taught yet or that requires a higher level of math knowledge.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Schulz only taught my class for the first 1/3 of the semester. He posted his lecture notes to Canvas, but the lectures themselves were so incredibly rushed that the content was impossible to understand. His review materials for our first midterm had little to do with the actual exam. He almost never answered Piazza questions.Rate My Professors ↗

Take Math 421 with someone else. Absolutely horrible, worst math professor I have ever had. The lectures were so confusing and everything went over my head. If you want to learn how to write calculus proofs, take the class with someone else. Please please please do not make the same mistake I did and take this class with someone else! Avoid!!!!!!!!Rate My Professors ↗

Absolute horrible, joke of a prof. Get ready for a 50 minute lecture that no one in the class understands. Never looks back to class to look for questions, never gives intuition on how to write proofs when lecturing. Review guide for first exam was nothing like the test. Said he was postponing midterm, then made us take it when originally scheduledRate My Professors ↗
