Professor Angenent is the best professor I have had at UW Madison. This class is very difficult in general, but he makes it so much easier to understand. Professor Angenent wants you to succeed. He's very eager to answer questions, both in class and on Piazza, and he's fair about grading curves. All class lectures are accessible on Canvas. Sigurd is a very caring and inspirational professor for advanced math and research. His lectures are very concise and easy to follow. He always gives students an intuition how and why it works.
