Geosci335 is a great online course to take. The lectures are interesting, and Shaun is a great prof & funny. The class itself is not too hard if you already have some geoscience or atmospheric/oceanic science background- if you don't, the textbook is very useful in explaining everything he will cover in exams, which aren't too bad. I def recommend

Prof Marcott is terrific! Extremely caring, kind, knowledgable of the subject, and more than willing to make accommodations in this difficult time. You can tell that Marcott genuinely wants all his students to succeed-- he has us do what is necessary to learn but is extremely respectful of our time. Although this class wasn't the most interesting, Shaun is a cool guy who you can tell really cares about what he's teaching. He took the time to understand how to best teach our class and made sometimes boring material worth listening to. He should be the only one teaching this class as his tandem professor Singer was the most boring guy ever.Rate My Professors ↗

Great class for non-science people! Shaun keeps you engaged and interested in the topic. No midterm or final, which is great. You have 6 quizzes and a few exercises and getting an A isnt too hard with a little work. Shaun is an extremely kind person and explains well why learning about natural disasters is an important topic.Rate My Professors ↗
