Tests are tough!! Really tough. The word problems are worded in a way of wanting you to mess up. He also includes other correct answers in a MCP, but only wants the “most correct” answer. It's difficult to study for this class. Great professor though!

Very interesting lectures. Engaging and shares personal stories. If you put in the work it is an easy A.

Tests are heavily weighted, they're tough. Lectures doesn't help, he tested harder that what he would teach in the lecture. I studied hard but it doesn't seem like a class that your effort gets pay back.

I don't think his teaching style is for me. He would often stay on one slide (graph, bar chart, news article, reading) for the majority of the class, and he would get sidetracked. Many of my friends warned me that this class was unnecessarily hard for a business elective. Grading system is not great, and HW is super long for only 7 points.

Professor Tuli's lectures have been the only one's I've attended at UW where I haven't checked the time and thought "when will this end". His tests are also not difficult if you attend lectures and study your notes. He is a very fair grader and removed questions he deemed too difficult for the class on exams.

Sachin Tuli was condescending, but I still would recommend taking this class and liked the TAs. The discussion sections are mandatory, and participation and attendance are mandatory for discussion class. The class was weird since there was no textbook, we would read articles that were more than 5-10 years old and not fact check them.
