Sabina is an intelligent woman and is very accessible outside of class! She is very knowledgeable in the Spanish language and Spanish culture in general, and does a superb job of presenting content in class in a coherent, concise manner. You must have a strong command of Spanish for her to grade you favorably, but she is always willing to help!Rate My Professors ↗
Her slides are often hard to understand and they are mostly photos of the textbook. She excels in giving feedback and in taking suggestions. There is book work due every week. This class is graded on hhow much you improve in your writing, which is subjective.Rate My Professors ↗
Fantastic! Definitely read the syllabus for the attendance and grading policies; there are some things that she doesn't mention that are pretty important. She definitely cares about students, and always will help you if you ask for it. Sabina is an amazing teacher. She is always willing to help you when you ask for her, and she's seems super excited to teach. In the class itself, there's a lot of daily homework, but it's not too difficult to complete. She was very good at letting people know when stuff is due. Very kind, funny, and down to Earth. Sabina is a really great teacher. Also, she is very unlike other teachers you may have in that she is young, hip, and cool (I mean... she has airpods). Sabina "says" you need to use Spanish from the beginning of class all the way to the end, but I never did and I was okay. You definitely should have her but there are a lot of assignments so yeah.
