Super chill dude, made morphology fun and interesting. He was always open to discussions in class and approaching puzzles from different ways.

Ryan organizes his class very well, so that even when the material is tough it doesn't feel overwhelming. Lectures are fun and engaging, and you should go even though it's not part of your grade, because the readings do not cover lecture material. Exams are very straightforward and there are no trick questions.

Professor Henke's class was interesting and accessible, and he introduced me to a lot of interesting concepts. His lectures are informative and easy to understand, and the discussions are great practice for the exams. This class should be fairly easy, even if you're not a language major, and doesn't require much work outside of class.

what a nice and respectable guy. only thing about him is the speed he goes over lecture slides is intense, but the uploaded videos of the lecture sure help. 10/10

As a STEM major taking this for a humanities credit, I didn't expect to enjoy it—but Dr. Henke made it engaging. His lectures were interesting, well-paced, and he welcomed questions. If he didn't know something, he'd humbly admit it. Dr. Henke is a great professor and I highly recommend him for any class.
