Nixon was fantastic as a creative writing workshop instructor. There were three workshopped essay assignments--two mid-length and one 750 word one--spread throughout the semester, but your final portfolio requires revisions on only two of those. Grading--participate and turn in two revised drafts at the end and you should earn an A, no problem.Rate My Professors ↗

Loved this class. The books were all very enjoyable to read. Grade depends on TA, but most TAs realize that Lit classes are mandatory, not just for English majors...so most are pretty easy with grades. Six books, two papers, one midterm, and a final. Loved him! This is a great class, I was actually kind of sad when it finished. I had a pretty tough TA so my grade was not amazing even though I was incredibly interested in the content of the class and worked hard.
