RICHARD KELLER

Overall a really good professor who is passionate about what he teaches. The papers make up the majority of the grade so I would suggest staying on top of readings and getting started as early as possible. The TAs and professor are both willing to proofread which is nice

Keller's lectures are incredibly engaging, and while they are not required for attendance and are recorded, I genuinely wanted to be there. Class is graded on 3 essays and participation. If you don't procrastinate the essays and utilize the writing center, the class is a pretty easy A.

I loved this class overall but Professor Keller made it even more engaging. Lecture and reading heavy, you have to either go to lecture or watch his lecture uploads to do well in the class. Class consists of 3 papers each worth 25% and the other 25% is participation in discussion, easy to get an A if you do well on papers and go to discussion.

i loved this class! dr. keller is insanely knowledgable and engaging as a lecturer. also, every lecture was streamed online and absences for being sick are always excused which was awesome. overall this course was very interesting, well-structured, and not very difficult (but still encouraged reflection).

Incredibly interesting and engaging lecturer! Super knowledgeable and talks about a lot of things you probably wouldn't have learned outside of this class. TAs are also incredibly helpful and communicative, and they and Dr. Keller just seem very passionate about the course material. Also, Canvas was well-organized and lectures are uploaded online.

Prof Keller is great! He is super accommodating and really cares about his students. His class is graded by 4 things, participation, and 3 essays. If you use resources such as office hours, the writing center, or the history lab you will do fine.
