PSYCH 607
Quality 3/5Difficulty 3/5
Very engaging lectures, Rhonda shares a lot of her own experience from grad school & her practice that translate to what we are learning that week. Exams are take-home and open-note, but you are given just enough time to finish (graded relatively easy by the outside graders). Rhonda grades the final presentation very harshly, with minimal comments.

About the best I could have expected from a professor of an 'intro to psychotherapy' class, she was obviously very knowledgeable and experienced, and I found her lectures engaging and enjoyed the variety in assignments. also liked the eagle cams

PSYCH 601: Prof. will make her words seem full of sugar, but the saying is too much sugar makes your mouth rotten, and that's the taste she left in my mouth after this semester. If she doesn't like your writing right away, leave the class. Your grade will not improve.

Great prof, learned a lot, and the info was interesting and sometimes funny. If you put in a moderate amount of work, youll do good. Her tests are long and grueling but necessary for this sort of class. A lot of questions are based on what she lectures, so go to class and write down everything she says. Very psychodynamic heavy, which I didnt like

PSYCH 601
Quality 5/5Difficulty 3/5
Overall, I have really enjoyed Clinical psychology. Lectures are engaging, and Rhonda has a really positive and encouraging demeanor. It is easy to comfortably participate, and most people end up with As or ABs. The only downside is that there is a short essay assignment due every class, but that does help keep you honest in keeping up with work.

I had high hopes for this class, but I cant say its what I expected. There were so many small writing assignments and a paper, all with extremely subjective and unclear grading criteria. Definitely need to attend lectures to do well on the tests, but also read the research articles for specific details. Interesting stories but weird class overall
