Rafi is fine but this class is too outdated (overhead projectors and chalkboards instead of power points or white/smart boards). This is an InfoSys class at a multi-million $ school taught using 20 year old tech which just doesn't sit right with me. This is VERY group project heavy so sit with people you think are smart & meet with the TA for HW

Like 422, this class is taught in an outdated way. He needs to create slides and actually modernize the class to fit the material. Dates in his literal "slides" often refer to software and things in the 90's. That is not acceptable for what we are paying for this class. The help Eric provides during group project work is critical to success.

Changed class time several times throughout the semester and made material covered during those times mandatory. Required paper turnin and would not accept electronic handouts. Uses overhead projector and chalk for class - which is insulting to technology majors. In one word, this class is "antiquated."

Lazimy is really bad at teaching. Lectures are boring and unhelpful, but attendance is mandatory. Notes are confusing and often contradictory, photocopied from multiple sources. SQL project great for your resume, but you're often learning *in spite* of Lazimy, not because of him.

He really knows what he is talking about, is genuinely interested in seeing his students succeed, and the workload is very fair. The assignments were incredibly helpful, the project makes for a great talking point in job interviews, and learning Access/SQL is very helpful to have on any data related resume. Highly recommend class and prof!
