Before I took spanish 226 I had a genuine love for Spanish. But now I absolutely dread the class and speaking the language because Professor Ananth makes me feel very insecure to speak spanish in class. She is very hard on her students and will never cut you a break even if you do one assignment wrong out of fifty.Rate My Professors ↗
Priya was one of the more difficult TAs for 226 from what I heard. Her expectations were very high for her students. There were so many assignments and a lot of them were group projects. She gives good feedback on all written work, but is very tough. I definitely improved my writing skills, but I did not look forward to class with her.Rate My Professors ↗
Priya wasn't necessarily a bad teacher, but picked favorites the first week of class and really stuck to them, so get on her good side right away. Also never revealed one detail about her personal life but rather stuck to a strict minute-by-minute schedule every class period. Tough grader.
