Ossorio should not be teaching torts. She's disorganized and a poor communicator. She cannot bring herself to clearly answer student questions. Lectures are dull, unfocused rambles. She often ends up launching into incoherent tangents. The terrible textbook - written by her friend - only adds to the confusion. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Rate My Professors ↗
She's a lovely kind lady but not great at teaching torts. I learned the most by teaching myself with my classmates at the end of the class. She's good in office hours though so make sure you go to those. Exam was fair based on what we had learned. She cancelled class with no make-up sessions which made it hard for us to get through important units.Rate My Professors ↗
This Professor did nothing to advance my understanding of the subject matter. She cancelled class multiple times with no option to have a make-up session. She did not organize course material in an efficient way, and she would often go on tangents that had little to do with course material and seemed more about her opinion.Rate My Professors ↗
This professor does not have confidence in the subject matter she is teaching. She does a poor job of presenting materials with clarity, and does not correct or defend student statements to elucidate the substance needed to be derived from the book. She is very opinionated, and professes more opinion than fact in her lectures. She didn't give out the topic of the "semester long" research paper until a month into class. Your grade for the class comes out at least 1 1/2 months before she actually gives your paper back (how do you get a grade before she actually grades your paper??).Rate My Professors ↗
