Layout of the course felt unorganized and he gave lots of homework for each class used for discussions. Consistently had 1.5-3 hours of work to do before the class, three times a week. He also felt slightly condescending at times, though he was really nice outside of class. Not a hard grader and is very understanding, just unnecessary workload!Rate My Professors ↗

Very judgement free and caring to all students regardless of their French proficiency. I felt welcome to participate and make plenty of mistakes which helped me grow quickly. The grade was not a worry as long as you showed up and completed assignments -- making Peter's class engaging, useful, and overall awesome. Came back months later to write thsRate My Professors ↗
Very engaging professor. Genuinely cares about every student. I think the entire class passed with an A. Final grade is almost entirely based on attendance and participation, so if you skip class beware.Rate My Professors ↗
Peter was a great language teacher and was really good at meeting us at our own level with the language. The topics we covered were super interesting and useful with the French language. He was super accessible via email and in person and had super helpful office hours. Very fair grader also, just slow to grade things.Rate My Professors ↗
