Natalia is a caring teacher, but her lectures weren't consistent with each class, the slides weren't organized, and the system for participation was not well thought out. One time I couldn't make it to class, and she posted on canvas afterward that classes are important to attend.Rate My Professors ↗
Natalia had no clear path for the class. She changed the syllabus many times and was extremely unorganized. Participation takes up much of your grade and the only way you can earn points is by talking in class. This is difficult when she only calls on a small selection of students. Natalia was inconsistent in her communication, grading, and criteria. You are required to go to one dance performance for 5% of your grade ($20+) and when it came down to grading she gave me 0% after spending my money. The course was extremely unorganized and 40% based on participation even though she called on the same people. Do not recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
natalia changed the syllabus multiple times and there was no cohesion between the course or any of the units. though labeled as a history of dance class, dance165 really offered no real clear picture of any dance history but many bits and pieces (in a bad way). she emphasized participation but never called on people fairly. no organizationRate My Professors ↗
