Professor Chana is definitely a kind, compassionate professor who cares about her students. She gives lots of recognition to indigenous communities which is refreshing. Don't take this class if you don't like group projects however, as the midterm and final got you well acquainted with your group. This is a super easy and fun course and an easy A.

Dr. Chana is such a great prof! She is caring, respectful of the cultural music and traditions that we studied in class, and encouraged engagement and questions in lectures. There were also mandatory discussion sections which facilitated learning and review of content. Overall, if you have the chance to take Chana's class, you won't regret it!

Nadia Chana is an amazing professor! She really seems to care about her students. Professor Chana's MUSIC 103 class is light with the workload (probably 2 hours of work per week). Lecture materials are done virtually, but discussion is mandatory. You have two group projects per year (graded easily, and only a couple hours of work as well).

Online asynchronous lectures was a nice convenience, the material is interesting but your engagement depends on your TA for discussion, mine was subpar. Group projects and lecture module responses made up the grade, so it was mostly busy work showing that you understand for an A. Chana seems very passionate about her work, good class and Prof.

Professor Chana is so sweet and definitely cares about the material. Decent amount of work each week, but it's super easy and a nice brain break from more difficult classes. Midterm and final are really simple group projects. Easy A as long as you keep up with weekly discussion posts.
