Prof Young is a top-tier professor. Sometimes the content can be boring, but if you sit with good people to discuss books, it can be an easy way to build connections. He will talk to the class if there is a lack of participation, instead of cold-calling. Live, laugh, love, Prof Young.

Prof. Young is absolutely fantastic. He truly cares about his students and even gets to know everyone's names and hobbies. While there is a bit of reading for this class, it was all super engaging and easy to read. It is almost impossible not to get an A in this class. I would highly recommended to anyone.

Quality 4/5Difficulty 2/5
Class was an easy A because he gives you every opportunity possible to get an A. He gives you opportunities to make up absences and make up assignments when you miss the deadline. A lot of reading and writing, but it's fairly easy. Still, I felt like I learned a lot and read some cool stuff.

Great personable guy. Really enjoyed the class, learned a lot, and appreciated how Morris made it as immersive as possible. Readings are pretty short and exams are straight-forward with no strings attached. 270 was a fantastic choice for ethnic studies.
