This course isn't the easiest but totally doable. Mikkel responds to emails quickly and his lectures are fairly straightforward. Tests are medium difficult but the final is a bit harder.

Mikkel warned us that the class will be hard right from the get go. While it is a difficult course, he makes sure to do his best to help you understand. He is very helpful if you reach out for help. He does go through his lectures at a fast pace but he always posts his slides so you can always get ahead or catchup later.

The lectures are easy to learn from and his commentary is funny, so it makes going to class enjoyable. I was worried about taking this class, but so far it's been one of my favorite classes in the econ dept. Overall great professor! The only thing is that sometimes he flips through slides pretty fast, so bring the printed powerpoints to class.
