Not a bad professor necessarily, just INSANELY boring. Engelman doesn't put much (if any) effort into making lectures interesting. Not really a hard professor. Essays were graded very easily and tests were all multiple choice and not too hard. I wouldn't recommend due to how boring she is, but if you want an easy A/AB and can put up, go for it.Rate My Professors ↗

Great professor! She made the transition to online during COVID-19 very easy and streamlined the syllabus to make sure we learned the most necessary information. The concepts learned were mostly common sense and easily applicable to everyday life. Her lectures were easy to follow along and make sense of.Rate My Professors ↗

I absolutely loved Prof. Engelman! Her lectures were very insightful and helped to talk about a lot of modern issues. The class is fairly easy as long as you go to lecture and discussion; however, she does upload all the slides from lecture. There is a lot of reading for this course but most of it can be skimmed over pretty quickly.Rate My Professors ↗

Prof Engelmans lectures, jam-packed with well-organised facts, exemplify their expertise in their field and their ability to effectively communicate course concepts to the audience. Workload is minimal, usually 6 hours a week. Read the readings, pay attention in lecture, and it should be an easy A.Rate My Professors ↗

This class is based on her lectures and readings she finds on the internet. Her lectures are quite boring and she wasn't very engaging. The readings were sometimes EXTREMELY long. Oh, I can't forget to mention that there are 2 quizzes per week on the readings. The whole class is graded on 2 exams, 2 writing assignments, the quizzes, and participatoRate My Professors ↗
