Maria is very approachable and is always happy to answer your questions. Her lectures are always interesting, and she asks the class questions to keep them engaged. She tries her best to facilitate arguments, but sometimes things can get out of hand if there is a sensitive topic. Grade is baed solely on two papers, three exams, and participation in discussion. The lectures are just liberal ideas that have nothing to do with the class, pointless, boring and there is no factual evidence of anything she says. If you have an opposing view she will shut you down and make the others students gang up on you. Avoid at all costs.Rate My Professors ↗
Maria teaches a class to a severe bias. If there is a disagreement in class, she will often let other students gang up on an individual. If you have a different viewpoint than Maria, my advice would be to never speak up. More often than not Maria avoids facts in lecture and rather points to feelings to provide evidence. Maria is one of the nicest teachers I have had. She cares very deeply about her students and is super flexible in making her class the best experience that she can. Professor Azocar is an intelligent, respected professor and has interesting, helpful lectures. She actually let me join the class about 4 weeks into the semester and helped me to catch up on all the material I missed, so she is very understanding and caring towards students.Rate My Professors ↗
