Professor Curtis is AMAZING! She is so passionate about what she teaches, and every lecture genuinely makes you think. The exams are difficult, but if you pay attention in class, go to discussions, and study the study guide, you will be fine. I genuinely learned so much that I didn't care if I didn't get an A because the class was still worth it.Rate My Professors ↗

I LOVED Prof Curtis. She is an amazing human, and so passionate about her work that she can make super boring policy stuff super interesting, and makes it matter to you. She is incredible, not enough of that can be said. The two exams are hard, but this class is worth it. The world would be a better place if more people took this class.Rate My Professors ↗

Starts every lecture asking "How are you?" Very passionate about her work. The class topic is dry, but lectures are straightforward and make sense. Lots of group work (not graded). Funny and cares a lot about her students. She loves teaching which makes it easier to learn the content. Very responsive to questions and incredibly kind. I loved her.Rate My Professors ↗

Class was dry and dragged on, and our only grades were 3 exams. I mostly just didn't like her, though. She was condescending, shouted at us, and stalked around the lecture hall, touching students without consent (grab shoulder, etc.). Also did not honor my McBurney accommodations and accused me of abusing them after missing one lecture with a note.Rate My Professors ↗
