Professor Vasquez is a fantastic teacher! The class was enjoyable and he gave clear and useful feedback. I feel my writing improved a lot under his teaching. He is approachable and gives students many chances to correct their mistakes and develop their writing skills!

He is a horrible teacher and doesnt have his criteria clear for grades. If you are a native Spanish speaker he definitely expects more from you which is unfair

Class attendance is optional, but participation heavy for grammar practice. We referenced the textbook a lot and used it for grammar exercises. You are graded on improvement across the 3 papers - Vazquez was really timely and willing to give feedback on drafts so I highly suggest taking advantage of feedback across the writing stages of each paper!
