Testing was the biggest struggle for me. Even when I would study and give it my all my tests scores were bad. You might think your right on a question but it was like the 2nd best answer. Never was able to understand her thinking process and what she would think is the right answer. Lectures are interesting though.Rate My Professors ↗
Psych 460 was a really great class to take, especially for aspiring psych majors. She teaches the class with a clear outline and is receptive to in-lecture questions and answers them in the moment. Attending lecture is very helpful and even missing one or two wasn't the end of the world. She understands the topic extremely well def recommend it.Rate My Professors ↗
This course had a significant emphasis on textbook readings and lecture material. If you read the textbook and take notes during each lecture, the exams should not be too difficult. Professor Rissman (Dr.Rizz) is objectively brilliant- she knows her stuff and lectures are heavy but intriguing so I liked her. Her exams are hard and its hard to grasp what to know for them. For a 3 credit class she expects a LOT from her students and it can be unreasonable. Doesn't believe in curves so get ready to WORK if you want a good grade.Rate My Professors ↗
A QUEEN! She put up with NO BS in this class, and called out disrespectful individuals more than once! You can tell she cares about this topic and is very smart. She is quite sarcastic and has a dry sense of humor, but she's the best. People who are complaining about her probably do badly on the exams, and blame her for it. WE LOVE DR. Course content was interesting, very lecture heavy. Slides posted on canvas but definitely still attend every lecture if possible.
