Prof. Leesa is one of the kindest and most caring teachers in the math dept. She presents material carefully, and with a lot of emphasis on improving proof-writing.

Leesa is hands down one of the BEST professors I've ever had at UW. Her teaching style makes really difficult material seem so much easier. You can tell that she genuinely wants all of her students to succeed. Leesa is so clear on what she wants you to know and is wary of the different learning styles/speeds in the room; she's cautious about this!

Leesa is an awesome teacher! Material is difficult, but tests and homework are fair. You can tell she wants you to succeed. Only math professor I've had that uses Learn@UW, so that's a major plus.

Leesa does a good job of explaining the proofs, the lectures made the homework very doable (but not easy) and she was always very willing to help in office hours. Very understanding of students and truly seems to want to have you succeed. Very open to questions during class which helped students grasp the material with ease.
