She is nice, and you can tell that she likes what she is doing. Attendance and participation is graded. No exams! Just quizzes and papers. Lectures are kinda annoying but definitely worth taking this class. RE425

Professor Lofton is the best business school professor! She is very knowledgeable in her field and gives fantastic real-world examples. She gave the perfect amount of work and the tests were very easy if you attended class. She made me very glad to be a RE major and I can't wait to take more courses with her! Highly recommend her!

Amazing professor who really cares to get to know her students. I'm a senior taking her intro to real estate class and wish I took it earlier.

Lauren is such a nice prof and wants to connect with her students. She is very nice and cares about her students. Her course material is pretty straightforward and she tries to relate it to current events. She cares about the material and is very enthusiastic.

Seriously the best teacher I've had all of college so far. Really cares about what she teaches and gives awesome feedback. She's always available outside of class and super kind. I would take another one of her classes in a heartbeat. She really made this weird semester manageable while still being informational.

The best teacher in the school of business- hands down. She will literally know your name after one day and look out for you on every assignment for the entire semester. Lectures are interesting, and use popular real life examples. Despite being the most boring content I had learned in the Bschool, this my favorite and most interesting class.

Professor Lofton is absolutely fantastic. She gives amazing engaging lectures, and she works hard to develop a cordial relationship with all of her 300+ potential students. She truly cares about seeing you succeed as a student and works hard to give a clear understanding in lecture.

She's good at presenting the material in a cohesive way, and the material was fairly easy. Write down everything she says verbatim, because some of the things that are on the exam are not found in the lecture notes. She kinda made me wish I majored in real estate.

Prof Lofton is really nice. Her lectures break down the whole real estate process into understandable chunks. If your textbook is BOAB, you don't need to purchase or read it. You must attend lecture. Her exams are half mc/TF and based entirely on lecture. Write every single thing she says in lecture. Exam answers are all stated verbatim in lecture

Professor Lofton is an amazing teacher! She is funny, intelligent, caring, and works hard to make class interesting. Her tests are very fair, and the homework load is very manageable. Some of the material can get a little dull but Lofton works to add in real-world anecdotes to keep things interesting. Highly recommend!

Lauren is one of the best lecturers I've had at UW. She's clear in her expectations and always keeps class interesting. She curates the material to what she thinks is applicable based on her own experience. Overall, one of the best professors UW has to offer

Lauren has been one of my better professors so far at UW. I thought the lectures were pretty engaging. She works as a real estate lawyer in town, so she has a bunch of interesting stories from her job and relates it to the material. She's also very approachable for questions, and she even helped me prepare for a job interview. Lauren is awesome!

Took Lauren for Real Estate 306, not sure if she's teaching it again but if she does I highly recommend it. She makes an effort to only teach things that are relevant to real life and avoids information that isn't actually relevant to the real estate profession. Also learned the entire class's name and made it feel personal. Class was easy and fun.
