Professor Ohm is very kind and lectures clearly. The exams are hard and the content can be really confusing once it turns 3D. She was really understanding in office hours and just like the other Calc classes in the sequence you have to put in the work.Rate My Professors ↗
Very clear lectures, and extremely helpful handwritten notes posted on canvas. This course could have been a nightmare with a lesser professor. Exams are of very reasonable difficulty. There is a ton of homework, but it can be done with time. Would highly recommend Ohm for this challenging course, she made it easy and digestible.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Ohm starts talking at the beginning of the lecture period and will not stop until 75 minutes are up. She packs a lot of content into MATH514—you need to be focused to keep up. Exams aren't too difficult, and she willingly gives extra time. I found the first two weeks the hardest part of the class. You'll use material from calc 2 and 3 a lot.
The content in this class is tough but you could tell Prof. Ohm tried to make all concepts as clear as possible in her lecture notes. She also made the tests much easier than they could've been which I really appreciated. Don't know much about the lectures because I never went, but she made it extremely clear what was going to be on the exams.Rate My Professors ↗

Absolutely no clue what was going on this entire class and I don't think I was alone - about 80% of class didn't attend lectures by the end. Even practical topics were presented in an incoherently abstract manner. I don't think she's any worse than the average math professor here but she certainly isn't any better.Rate My Professors ↗
