I had Dressler for the mechanics of materials lab (he was also my lab instructor for that class) and hes a pretty good teacher. He actually taught us relevant material that we would use after graduation, gave great advice about future classes, and cared about his students.Rate My Professors ↗

Gave great lectures, as the class is a little more informal since it's just an introductory class, he was a great mentor to us in labs. Gave us advice about what classes to take and such and what things would be like in the future. The class was a little disorganized but it was during covid, so he was kind of making things up on the fly.Rate My Professors ↗

Everyone loves Dressler because he's funny and knows his students, but he's just not a good professor. He is disorganized and frequently makes assignments with mistakes in them. He focuses heavily on concepts in lecture and asks questions without ever giving answers. The material isn't too difficult, but he doesn't teach it well at allRate My Professors ↗
