About this rating

Raw average: 2.30/5 from 10 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Ke was an amazing professor. She really understands the materials and does a very good job at explaining different concepts.

I am confused why her reviews are so low!? I thought that Dr. Fang was awesome, my favorite 104 lecturer by far. Her lectures are clear, concise, and logical - she gets right to the point without any extra fluff. Very good at walking through problems step by step. Pleasant and smiley too! Overall great prof.

PHYSICS 104
Quality 3/5Difficulty 3/5
Very boring lecturer-seemed to be just reading slides. Though she attempted, her interactions with students were awkward. Had trouble with technology and explaining difficult concepts. But at least she went over lecture slides, and she was very nice after class.

PHYSICS 322
Quality 1/5Difficulty 3/5
Avoid if possible for Physics 104, she just started teaching it and one would be better off trying to teach themselves. Hard to understand, frequently makes errors, says "oops sorry" and moves on without fixing. Has significantly lower exam averages from other professors.

PHYSICS 322
Quality 4/5Difficulty 3/5
Neither virtue nor vice. She did a decent job of presenting the main concepts from the textbook, but the lectures are by no means engaging. Clear grading criteria and canvas organization. Problem sets and discussion problems help understand the course, and exams are similar to problem sets and textbook examples.
