He makes econ 302 an easy and bearable class to take without making you stress about your grade like other profs. That being said I feel he lacked passion for the subject and sometime I felt we weren't given much material to learn from. I would take him over the other profs if for no other reason than hes not out for your gpa.Rate My Professors ↗

Very manageable class, an A is definitely within your grasp and there is no textbook. Fantastic lectures, really good at going in-depth and explaining concepts to students. Would definitely recommend him for any macroeconomics classes here at UW.Rate My Professors ↗

He's the man. One of, if not the best professor i've had. You can tell he loves what he does. He's very straightforward of what is expected with you as far as exams are concerned. It's not hard to do well in this class. Never went to discussion and went to class half the time. I felt bad missing class because he's that good. Definitely recomendRate My Professors ↗

This is the best professor ever. Take him for sure.I get 90 average on my first 3 midterms and I did not take the final. About the exam,Trying to remember and practice the formulas over and over again and you will be fine.Do the practice problems, which are 100% same as the examRate My Professors ↗

He was my favorite Econ professor so far! He says there's no textbook required and he means it. I never used mine. But you should definitely go to lecture and discussion and follow along. If you do, you can get at least an AB with minimal effort. He's very straight forward and I learned a LOT. Exams get progressively harder but are always fair.Rate My Professors ↗
