I thought that Kelsey was one of the greatest professors I've had here at Madison. I thought her lectures were incredibly well done and I found her teaching style to be very engaging and thought provoking. i got 100% on every assignment including the 325 point application paper. i think you get full credit on everything if you meet word count and submit it on time. super easy class but i didnt feel like i learned anything which is disappointingRate My Professors ↗
"how people learn" was boring and the readings were very outdated and confusing. I got 100% on all the assignments so I'm convinced that she (or the TA) doesn't read your responses, but just grades on completion. She didn't even give the lectures, they were videos from another professor. The class was easy but boring and I didn't learn anything.
Very interesting, very easy class. Online format gave a light workload, and the she made the class enjoyable and educational without being stressful at all. I believe it is the beginning of her teaching career, so the course may be slightly more difficult in the future. Kelsey taught Ed Psych 301 "How People Learn". She is a brand new lecturer going her PhD. She really cared about her students and made sure we understood the material. Some of the lectures were a bit boring, but she was clear with what we needed to know, and a lot of the information was applicable to my life. It was an easy A with extra credit
