About this rating

Raw average: 4.14/5 from 14 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

I did enjoy Sanchez a lot she really was knowledgeable and loved to share about Latin American History which made the class very good. The main issue was the lectures. Slides had little text, so you had to rely on notes from what she said, which made the test harder since mutliple choice questions came from small details mentioned once.

Professora Sanchez is incredible. She will always make time for her students and genuinely cares about their progress. If you do poorly on a paper, she will allow you to review and make corrections to enhance your grade. Overall, she makes her students interested in the course work and is an awesome professor to have. 10/10 would recommend.

The exams for this course a super easy and you get a note sheet for each one. There are only three midterms, no final. There are a lot of readings for the course and you have to do them to do well, but they are generally interesting. She is incredibly personable and is really into what she teaches. I highly recommend this class.

Professor Sanchez was an awesome teacher. I got on really well with her and her clarity of teaching was superb. She's easy to understand and makes an iffy subject very enjoyable. I would recommend taking her classes
