Professora Sanchez is incredible. She will always make time for her students and genuinely cares about their progress. If you do poorly on a paper, she will allow you to review and make corrections to enhance your grade. Overall, she makes her students interested in the course work and is an awesome professor to have. 10/10 would recommend.

Sanchez's lectures are often all over the place and hard to follow. She uses powerpoint with her lectures but her slides show pictures rather than notes about what she is going over. I took the class because I thought it would be easy and interesting but it wasn't really either. Would not recommend.

The exams for this course a super easy and you get a note sheet for each one. There are only three midterms, no final. There are a lot of readings for the course and you have to do them to do well, but they are generally interesting. She is incredibly personable and is really into what she teaches. I highly recommend this class.

Professor Sanchez was an awesome teacher. I got on really well with her and her clarity of teaching was superb. She's easy to understand and makes an iffy subject very enjoyable. I would recommend taking her classes

I loved taking her class! If you take LACIS with her, make sure you take a lot of notes during her lectures (there is a lot information thrown at you) so that you do well on her tests. If you put in the effort, you should do well! Incredibly interesting class, especially ancient civilizations!

Very sweet and kind if you ask her questions. Even though subject to me was very boring, she kept the lectures very interesting. Very good and fair professor.

Prof Sanchez is an easy grader but also extraordinarily lax on academic rigor. She puts in some effort to teach, you put in some effort to do the assignments and everyone looks good doing it. I didn't feel like I had learned anything by the end, nor that I had been asked to try. not worth my tuition dollars..

The class was very interesting! I learned a lot about Carmen Miranda and other subjects that tie in with gender and society. I didn't need to get the texts that were assigned because they were mostly online, or she had them available online. Her lectures were never boring, and we watched a bunch of movies! Easy grader, I didn't try too hard.

A decent professor. Her accent is not hard to understand. She talks A LOT in lecture, so be prepared to take notes if you want to do well on the exams. Some lectures are really pointless, while others are very interesting. She is very knowledgeable.

most boring teacher ive ever had!!! her accent is horrible and correct people with brazilian accents as they dont have a "portuguese" accent. I didnt learn anything in her class i didnt already know from 225 i mean come on if you dont know your numbers and how to conjugate a verb you should repeat 101/102

Littrans 226 was a fun class--lots of dry, historical reading and less of the interesting novels, though. Kathryn was a great professor--a fair grader and easy to talk to.

This class was a lot of fun, interactive, movies, engaging discussions, I loved it! You do need to come to class and participate, but you also wouldn't want to miss...

Typical literature class. Grade is based on 3 summaries/reflections of novels, one take home mid-term and one final. There is feminine theory which can be dense. If you read the novels and pay attention to discussion it's an easy class.
