I did enjoy Sanchez a lot she really was knowledgeable and loved to share about Latin American History which made the class very good. The main issue was the lectures. Slides had little text, so you had to rely on notes from what she said, which made the test harder since mutliple choice questions came from small details mentioned once.Rate My Professors ↗

Professora Sanchez is incredible. She will always make time for her students and genuinely cares about their progress. If you do poorly on a paper, she will allow you to review and make corrections to enhance your grade. Overall, she makes her students interested in the course work and is an awesome professor to have. 10/10 would recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
Sanchez's lectures are often all over the place and hard to follow. She uses powerpoint with her lectures but her slides show pictures rather than notes about what she is going over. I took the class because I thought it would be easy and interesting but it wasn't really either. Would not recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
The exams for this course a super easy and you get a note sheet for each one. There are only three midterms, no final. There are a lot of readings for the course and you have to do them to do well, but they are generally interesting. She is incredibly personable and is really into what she teaches. I highly recommend this class.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Sanchez was an awesome teacher. I got on really well with her and her clarity of teaching was superb. She's easy to understand and makes an iffy subject very enjoyable. I would recommend taking her classesRate My Professors ↗
I loved taking her class! If you take LACIS with her, make sure you take a lot of notes during her lectures (there is a lot information thrown at you) so that you do well on her tests. If you put in the effort, you should do well! Incredibly interesting class, especially ancient civilizations!Rate My Professors ↗
