(PA 200) Takes attendance unnecessarily seriously & isn't accessible for those who can't make lectures, ONE absence the whole semester for BOTH lecture and discussion section. Doherty was really boring to listen to in class and her slides are pretty disorganized. There was only one midterm and one final, so we weren't really graded on much. Attend discussion review sessions and take decent notes and the exams will be pretty easy.Rate My Professors ↗

A slow talker, but if you literally just show up to class and pay attention to the lectures you should get a good grade. The class is definitely focused more on reflecting on how your race and ethnicity has shaped your life/others lives rather than focusing on extremely specific/difficult content. This professor is a bit slow in her speaking patterns. Felt like I needed to put her in 2x speed in real life. She sort of knows the content, but she just takes all the information from the first paragraph of each textbook chapter with no context.
