Wasn't the biggest fan of her course layout with the guest speakers every Monday and having a student present the entire class on Wednesdays. Would have preferred everything to not be put in the gradebook at the VERY end of the semester, as I was taken aback by her very harsh grading. Had an A the entire semester yet ended with a B. #SaltyRate My Professors ↗

She's Nice enough, but she never actually taught us anything. On Mondays she would zoom call a lecturer/writer from another school and they'd answer our questions. Then on Wednesdays she would make one of the students present the entire class. The assignments are relatively easy and lectures were mostly boring and pointless.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Jensen is a fantastic professor. This class is really interesting and has lots of guest speakers to spice it up. There is a lot of reading, and if you are not one who likes writing papers you will struggle as there are 6 reading responses and a final paper. But I would highly recommend to anyone interested in the topic.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Jensen was an enjoyable and interesting lecturer. The exams are pretty straight forward as long as you go to lecture and do the readings. There is a LOT of reading in this class though so be prepared.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Katie Jensen is a wonderful teacher and I really enjoyed her lectures. Her area of expertise is South America and she is very passionate about international dynamics and the subjects she teaches. Great intro class would recommendRate My Professors ↗

Professor Jensen and this class were both great! Definitely need to read the textbook and required readings, but if you do that, the tests are pretty easy. Prof. Jensen is so kind and has so much knowledge to share. She talked at length about many examples and was always eager to help clarify concepts. Can't wait to take another one of her classes!Rate My Professors ↗
