Prof. Walden truly cares about her students and is an amazing professor. Whenever things went wrong/tests didn't go as planned, she never blamed the class and always made accommodations so we could succeed. I'm not a huge history person, but I enjoyed what I learned and History 101 is a great class to take when you have a heavy workload otherwise.Rate My Professors ↗
I assume that the other review on here was left after our very first quiz, which was created by the TAs, and scrapped later, so mostly ignore that review. That's pretty indicative of how Walden is. She did not blame the class when things did not go well and was very adaptable. There was no homework. Just pay attention in lecture and take notes.Rate My Professors ↗
Probably one of the worst teachers Ive ever had. Quizzes have nothing to do with the material covered in the lectures. No homework so your grade relies heavily on your quizzes and papers. Questions on quiz will have to do with very specific things that were in your text book so I hope you are a good reader.Rate My Professors ↗
