Hermand is not the only lecturer for this class, he is one of three. He is from Nazi Germany and his personal experiences are very interesting. However, this class is not easy!!! IT is a lot of work and graded VERY HARSHLY. There are no powerpoints so lectures are hard to follow.Rate My Professors ↗
Take this class!! Professor Hermand actually lived in Germany during Nazi rule and even met Hitler at one point, his story is phenomenal and it was amazing to have the chance to hear him speak. I learned so much in this class, and it is by far one of my favorites of college. He does talk pretty fast though, so be prepared for note taking.Rate My Professors ↗

One of the best classes I've ever taken. Attendance is mandatory, as that is usually the only time the material he talks about is presented. If you go to class and read what you're suppose to , you'll be fine, his expectations are not unnecessary high. He talks fast, however, so be prepared to take notes over long periods of time (power lecture)Rate My Professors ↗
Super Bada#$. This guy lived through Hitler youth (he was forced) and will tell you some s#$& you won't hear anywhere else. The only bad part of the class is resisting the urge to smack the ungrateful s*#$ that hate on him.
