Prof. Kalscheur is one of the best professors at this school! I was in his poetry and fiction class this semester, and I loved it. He always provides long notes of praise and helpful feedback to every student on every assignment. Class feels more like a constructive writing group than a rigid, graded class, which helps me write more authentically.Rate My Professors ↗

Great guy who clearly cares about his students and what he's teaching. Really easy grader, very forgiving. If you have the opportunity to take one of his classes, I would highly recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
really kind prof who is passionate about the subject and cares for his students. there's a grading contract you just have to complete and then you get an A, no actual grades or anything.Rate My Professors ↗
Super chill dude who really just wants people to learn from the class instead of just working towards grades. He's a kind guy in and out of the classroom and is especially good at analyzing your work. He has plenty of office hours as well.Rate My Professors ↗
Super kinda and helpful. Really passionate about the subject.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Kalscheur was amazing. Super nice guy and it clearly shows that he wants students to succeed. For English 100 at least, he had a grading contract that made it so as long as you complete all of the work and participate in class, you get an A. He made lots of time to meet outside of class for useful feedback. 10/10 would take again.Rate My Professors ↗
