Very good and caring professor. Available outside of class, utilize office hours. Particpation and lecture quizzes (surveys) each week. Like 4 individual assignments and 3 group projects. Be ready to spend multiple hours (even during thanksgiving break) on long participation and individual assignments that can take up most of you day. Jordan is a very nice guy however and is very open to helping out. He is always very pleasant during lectures.Rate My Professors ↗

Quite honestly my very favorite professor at UW. Although this class was a challenge for me as Im not good at analytics, it was extremely beneficial and I feel Ill actually use what I learned in class in my future career. I didn't like Tong much in 300, but he's surprisingly fantastic for Operations Analytics! This class is somewhat frustrating when teammates don't pull their weight in tough group projects, but it's also likely the most useful class you will take at WSoB. Lots of interesting group projects. You will work with everyone else in class on group projects. No exams. Exploring data with different tools and methodologies with group small enough to feel intimate. Loved the class.Rate My Professors ↗
