These other ratings are so harsh. John is a sweet old man he enjoys teaching and sometimes gets carried away because he is clearly very passionate about statistics. I love coming to lecture and hearing him teach. It is super beneficial and he will answer any questions in class and makes sure that students understand. 10/10 would recommend.Rate My Professors ↗

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. By far the worst teacher I have ever had. Disorganized. Unclear grading criteria. Overall unable to teach the material. The textbook was also no help. I tried to stick it out and teach myself but all of my other grades ended up suffering because of it.Rate My Professors ↗

This is the worst class of my undergrad. I dont understand how he received tenure. Logan is past his time and needs to go. He shouldnt be tenured nor should he be allowed to teach any class.Rate My Professors ↗

Trust me, avoid. It's not worth the stress, unless this is the only class you're in. He's a nice enough guy, but you have no idea what you need to know until days before the exam. More like a history class than a soc class. More memorization than analysis.Rate My Professors ↗

If you want a monotone professor who talks to himself in class and forgets the curriculum occasionally, then John is the right person for you. He's a great guy to talk to outside of class but he is not qualified to teach this class.Rate My Professors ↗
