Take this class if you want to get a lesson in fashion. Joel's outfits ranged from impeccable to obscure, and he really pushes the boundaries of fashion. Sehr advant garde. Academically, the class is good. He has a nonchalant attitude that makes going to class fun and he gives good feedback.

Joel is a great professor and we all looked forward to his outfit each day in class. He is a native speaker from Switzerland, so his accent is heavy but is entertaining. He's an easy grader, but also gives you great feedback and is always open to meet up if you ever need help with writing. Highly recommend him as a professor!

Joel was an excellent example of what it means to be a college-level language instructor. He stimulated conversation in the classroom and was very up to date with his student's interests.

Joel is a great professor. He's funny and has very hip shoes. 10 out of 10 recommend. He also grades pretty easy, but the shoes are more important.
