Jiri is interesting some of the time, but really it's hard to make calculus interesting. Decent lecturer if you're good with accents, if you have trouble understanding professors don't choose Jiri. Read the textbook in lecture. His hand-writing and accent are a sort of terrible! However, he is pretty helpful when you have problems. What is even worse is my TA who always make mistake in discussion. If you don't have other choice, take him. If you have, avoid him.Rate My Professors ↗

If you go to lecture, you get the book read to you. You can open the book, read the example and watch him do them. Not very helpful. Also, doesn't go out of his way to help students. If taking 240, wait for another professor.Rate My Professors ↗
This professor rocks! He makes math seem easy because he has so many ways of explaining a new concept. He was also very helpful in office hours. He uses his own book, so you get plenty of practice problems of the kind that will appear on the exam.Rate My Professors ↗
