If you take a genuine interest in animal physiology Dr. Yahn's portion of the class will be the most enjoyable of the 3. It is clear to me he is invested in his student's learning and if you match that investment with active participation in the course you will learn a lot and score well on the exam (what more could you want?)Rate My Professors ↗

Personally, I enjoyed Yahn's lectures. He's very passionate about what he is teaching. I will say, the slides are very diagram heavy with not much text, but if you take time to review your notes and the diagrams you should be fine. He is also great with availability for meeting with students and responds to emails quickly!Rate My Professors ↗

He is really nice and passionate; however, the actual teaching is not as nice. His lectures are all over the place, and he goes over time a lot. Very difficult content, and you basically have no choice because he is the only professor for this class. I guess just do your best, Dr. Blair and Dr. Lee are much better.Rate My Professors ↗
I want to like Professor Yahn… but man. His lectures are SO content heavy, the slideshows are not effective for studying or really much at all, and the discussion worksheets are very difficult to find the answers in any lecture content.
