She teaches a 200 level class at the rigor of an advanced class, feels a lot like compensating for getting under qualified roles. Attendance mandatory, god forbid you use any electronic device in this classRate My Professors ↗

The reason I chose Madison for my undergraduate, amazing professor who opened a new interest of Slavic society and culture.Rate My Professors ↗
I took her Slavic Literature class I wish i didn't should've dropped immediately but it wasn't so bad till the end most boring class I've ever taken. It's more of an art history course she just sort of makes things up on the fly. Her quizzes had almost nothing to do with the books we read but rather more to do with seperate pieces of art and photosRate My Professors ↗
She is the reason I didn't drop out of UW-Madison. I have never had a more caring and understanding professor than Dr. Tishler. She knows college is stressful for everyone and the last thing students want to learn about is 275, but her readings are straightforward, the tests aren't going to make you stress out, and the final project was super easy.Rate My Professors ↗
This class was very easy and very enjoyable. Dr. Tishler is a very approachable and caring person.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Tishler is a nice woman. She does make note of attendance for a grade. Not the easiest grader, but if you put more than minimal effort into the class you will do well. Must at least try to do the reading each week, but not always necessaryRate My Professors ↗
