Loved this class and Jane is extremely involved, cares about the subject and her online course is extremely well organized, works with student to achieve goals, lot of reading, if you put effort no reason to get an A. Fair grader. I would definitely take this professor again and highly recommend the class even if you know nothing about sports.Rate My Professors ↗
I actually really enjoyed Jane's class! I took it during the Summer and we had a small class so she was able to focus a bit more on each individual. Jane works fast and there are a lot of readings and assignment's but in the end, Jane is a fair grader!Rate My Professors ↗
I took the summer session and it sucks. Assginment are tedious and useless: it basically just a check whether you actually do the reading. Field research is pretty good but the paper format is unbearable. You have no freedom of thinking but to follow that stupid format, which is not good for free-thinking. She should be teaching grad level classes. She is unable to explain things on a level that most undergrads can understand. Incredibly smart, but too smart for a beginning Methods class.Rate My Professors ↗
I am in her honors class...omg. I'm normally an "A" student and this is wayy too much for me. Basically you spend the semester doing a big research project, which has a lot of components and takes a TON of time. Also numerous readings that are pointless since there are no quizzes/tests. Take non-honors or someone else unless you really like this.
This class is a required and is not very fun but in the end she is a good grader. You work in groups so work can be divided up equally. Jane is very smart and knows what she is talking about. Amazing professor. Take any class with her. She will work with you and help you.Rate My Professors ↗
