Very helpful and understanding. The department switched the website the semester that I took the class, but Jamie was very thoughtful in taking workload into account with the new system and encouraged the department head to alter essays and assignments to be more realistic for the timeline. Classes are very active, and you will be expected to answer questions every class for your participation grade. He gives good feedback and as long as you put a little bit of effort into the essay and assignments you will get a good grade.Rate My Professors ↗

Jamie friendly, funny, and wants you to be successful. He speaks mostly in Spanish, so I don't feel like a learn a ton about grammar in class. You must do a lot of the learning outside of class, and then in-class is mostly just practicing. All the homework is entirely online and is auto-graded which is a little frustrating.
