Amazing lectures, James keeps repeating same materials like a bot. It's amazing that I never slept in any of his lectures. He really opened my mind on the way to teach. When having conference, he never understood what I'm trying to say, and his handwriting skills is also astonishing. He literally cannot understand what he wrote 5 mins ago.

Good for students that are already comfortable with writing academic style research papers. Does not use Canvas and does everything on paper, struggles to answer questions in a calm and concise manner, does not reply to emails, and will only give feedback on paper at the conference draft. Still possible to get A but requires a lot of determination.
