Little monotone and didn't seem very confident all the time but his lectures are amazing and he's active in student learning. He respects you like a peer.

Professor Schmidt taught for 2 of the units. You can tell that he is smart and knows a lot, but he cannot teach. I learnt a lot on my own and understood the content better when I taught myself. However, the tests for the units that he taught were the easiest and most straightforward in my opinion.

Professor Schmidt lectured on 2 of the 5 units during the class and although the majority of the class preferred the other professor, Schmidt is still a great professor who definitely knows his stuff. His lectures were a little boring at times compared to the other professor but I would still gladly enroll in a class taught by him in the future.

J.R.Schimdt lectures in a round about way. He touches on the topics you need to know, but does not make it easy to follow along in lecture. The lectures are not interactive. Labs are pretty difficult. To succeed, you will need to attend office hours.

His lectures were really confusing. He walked around a lot and made it kinda hard to follow him. The class is already really hard so his inadequate teaching didn't really help. He is really good at helping answer questions outside of class though.

Professor Schmidt is a very good professor who does well to communicate with his students. He did a good job of explaining the material and went through examples thoroughly. Overall a tough class but made easier by a good professor.

Schmidt is an amazing professor and does a great job of breaking down the complex quantum mechanical concepts in class. He is always willing to answer questions in class and is accessible outside of class. While the course is very difficult, the curve is very good and I highly recommend to anyone confident in their chemistry and statistics skills.

Awesome lecturer! made chem as easy as it can be and he's super funny and just enjoyed being in this class

Dr. Schmidt is a good lecturer. Class averages are pretty high, and he does lots of practice problems.

Only having taken a semester of chemistry in high school, and jumping back into it with Professor Schmidt was a little tricky at first. But, Professor Schmidt is a great professor with a quirky sense of humor. Lots of practice problems in lectures.

He's a super good lecturer, pretty interesting and really smart. Class is a bit tricky but if you study the material and go to lectures you will be fine!

Dr. Schmidt is an amazing lecturer and I highly recommend sitting in the front row. Tests can be tricky, but study the material, don't get too nervous, and you'll be fine.

He's a chill guy. You can tell he's really smart. Nothing outstanding about him but he's a good teacher. Would take again.
